OUR STORY
After years of living in Herentals, we decided, together with our children, to take a different path in our lives. After a long search we found the perfect house to spread the warmth of the Kempen/Antwerp under the Spanish sun. Casa Dilica offers a relaxed and family atmosphere, under the motto 'mi casa es tu casa'!

The roots: in the Antwerp region, where we found a warm and friendly group of friends and learned a solid foundation of hospitality.

The trunk: Dirk, stable strength and rest. Linda, floating and dreaming in the wind. This is how we laid the foundation of our existence together.

The crown, Cato and Casper whom give us energy and whom we love to give a hand in their growth.
Together with our guests we want our dream to blossom further.

Casa Dilica is located between Pizarra and Estación de Càrtama, in the heart of Andalusia yet away from mass tourism. With about 20 minutes from Malaga airport we are within easy reach.
Enjoying culture?
Because of the central location we offer an excellent base to visit the famous and beautiful cities such as Sevilla, Granada (be sure to visit the famous Arabic palace Alhambra), Ronda, Cordoba and Malaga. All at a maximum of 1 hour and 30 min away.
Settle down for a day?
In the neighbourhood you will also find the smaller well-known white cities such as the district of Axarquia or cities such as Cómpeta, Mijas, Álora, Frigiliana, Nerja, Marbella, ... where you can enjoy delicious tapas and pure conviviality.
Adventure type?
Near Alora and Ardales you can experience a unique trip, in a beautiful setting, on the Caminito del Rey (www.caminitodelrey.info)
Walker?
Venture along the winding paths in the beautiful inland of Malaga. El Torcal is always worth a visit. We have a large number of described hiking trails ready for you, such as 'la Gran Senda' from Malaga, and 'el Pinsapar' in Yunquera, la Raja Ancha de Pizarra,…
Ornithology?
Bird watching can be done to the fullest in the Guadalhorce Valley. This is the most bird-rich and diverse area of Spain. A bird lover's paradise. And the lagoon of Fuente de la Piedra is also only 1 hour and 30 min away (en.visitasfuentepiedra.es)
Bike fanatic?
Jump on your bike and enjoy both flat and more sloping mountain routes. We can provide you with some routes. Didn't your bike fit on the plane? No problem, we can arrange it for you with the local bike rental company.
Just a lazy day?
There are also many pleasant coastal cities such as Torrox Costa, Torre del mar, ... with beautiful walking boulevards and sandy beaches. Would you like to eat some sardines with your feet in the sand?
On a trip with the kids?
In the neighbourhoud there are also fun things to experience for kids, such as various water parks, a crocodile park (www.cocodrilospark.com), a wolf park (www.lobopark.com), the adventure and animal park (www.selwo .es), ...
For all kinds of tourist information we are happy to help you.
There are also opportunities for horseback riding or kayaking and many golf courses. In the winter you can also ski in the Sierra Nevada, this is about 2 hours drive.
Attention: If you would like to experience the Camino del Rey, please let us know when booking your room so we can already make a reservation. Please note that children under the age of 8 are not allowed but you can leave them in good hands with us.
For the Alhambra in Granada we can also make a reservation for you.

Lounge and garden
In the cozy living / dining room everyone is welcome! Here you can watch television, use the house library or play board games with the family. In the meantime you can make plans for the next day while enjoying drinks or snacks from the house bar at economic prices. You can also use the spacious kitchen.
Of course you can also relax and cool off in the swimming pool and enjoy the various resting places in the garden.
Children more than welcome
During the holidays, families with children are welcome! We have various facilities such as a kids corner, playground, trampoline, ... We can provide an extra baby cot, have a baby chair, car seat, a bicycle with high chair. And if you want to go out for a day or an evening, remember we can take care of your children.
Pets allowed
Pets are also allowed , if they are safe with children and other animals.
Eat along
If you don't feel like going out for dinner, it is possible to join us at the table. Please notify us in the morning.
We speak your language
We speak Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included in the room rate. We use fresh and local products. When the weather is nice we serve breakfast on the terrace, when the weather is cooler we serve it in the cosy dining room.
If you have any allergies or being a vegetarian, please indicate this when booking and we will be happy to adjust the food for you.
